ScienceWorks for Kids for grades 4?6: Books contain from six to nine concepts. Each concept begins with a teacher resource page, providing science background and information on items that should be obtained or prepared in advance. There is a full page learning visual that may be reproduced or made into a transparency. Two-page investigations comprise the remainder of each concept. The first page provides a materials list and step-by-step teacher instructions. The second page is a reproducible student record sheet. Weather presents information and investigations on these six concepts:
# Weather changes from day to day and over the seasons.
# Weather conditions can be described in measurable quantities.
# Water circulates through Earth's atmosphere.
# Clouds directly affect weather.
# Climate is affected by Earth's features.
